Wednesday Net Meetings

Wednesday Net Meetings will be held every wednesday night starting at eight CST and will run till nine on CB Ch-03 AM.

Wednesday Net Meetings will be for AM mode contacts only to compensate for those who do not have SSB capable Radios. There will be a (NCS) Net Control Station and an (ANCS) Alternate Net Control Station appointed for these net meetings to assure that all club members are following and holding good club standards. Any and all members are welcome.

Saturday Net Meetings

Saturday Net Meetings will be held every Saturday night starting at eight CST and will run till nine on CB Ch-38 LSB and A secondary Ch-34 USB as a back up.

Saturday Net Meetings will be for SSB mode contacts only to compensate for those who have SSB capable Radios. There will be a (NCS) Net Control Station and an (ANCS) Alternate Net Control Station appointed for these net meetings to assure that all club members are following and holding good club standards. Any and all members are welcome.

The Wisconsin Michigan Citizens Band Radio and Scanner Club is getting ready to administer a network for SKYWARN Storm Spotters in the Brown County area that are not licensed HAM Radio operators. 02/05/2010:

The Wisconsin Michigan CB Radio and Scanner Club will be updating the looks of the website, we will be only updating a few pages at a time till the update is completed. This is due to the lack in numbers of members at this time and limitations to access of the website for editing purposes at this time by our editing staff.

SSB Brown County SKYWARN Net:

The new Brown County SKYWARN Single Side Band net will operate within the limitation of the Citizens band Radio Service to accommodate those U.S.D.C National Weather Service trained Weather Spotters that do not hold an F.C.C issued amateur radio license.

At this time we do not have all Rules of conduct in place for this net work and there for will not bo going live with it until we have a good sound set of Rules in place, For any members that wish to contribute their thoughts on Rules of Conduct for this type of network E-Mail them to WIMICBRSC@new.rr.com.

The SSB SKYWARN net will operate on HF 27 MHz. Below is the list of Brown County Area Frequencies.

Ch 32 Lower Sideband 27.325 MHz: Severe Weather Reporting

Ch 36 Upper Sideband 27.365 MHz: Severe Weather Back Up.

Ch 39 Lower Sideband 27.395 Mhz: Severe Weather reporting Secondary.
